NUGGETBOT V2
In the near future, NuggetBot will be updating to a new version.

The current state of NuggetBot

NuggetBot in its current state is functional, but not well optimized for the server growth that it is experiencing. You may have noticed that some commands return a pretty slow response, with NuggetBot v2 we plan to fix this issue.

Will any current commands be removed?

The quick answer to this question is yes, there will be some commands that will be removed. The commands that will be removed are the commands under the Stats category (you can see them here) and a few other smaller/insignificant commands. The reason for this is that we plan to further optimize the commands under the Stats category and make sure that we can provide them to our users in a simple but still useful manner.

Why is NuggetBot updating?

Discord has made an announcement that the Message Content Intent will become a Privileged Intent for Verified bots and only approved Verified bots will have access to message content. Due to this, we will no longer be able to check if a message contains our bot's prefix (n.). The deadline for this change is currently August 31st, 2022.

When is NuggetBot v2?

As of currently, we do not have a set date or any sort of ETA. NuggetBot is still undergoing its full rewrite and we will take as much time as we need to make sure that we deliver it with proper performance.

Will the bot be offline at all?

When we are ready to roll out v2, NuggetBot will go offline for 30 minutes to about an hour (this may change). We expect v2 to roll out smoothly and NuggetBot should be back up the same day. Although since we are moving over to Slash Commands, there may be an additional hour while the Slash Commands are registered globally.
